This holiday season, join Station Yards and help make Thanksgiving brighter for Long Island families in need.

On Friday, November 13, Station Yards in Ronkonkoma will host its Third Annual Turkey Drive to benefit Long Island Cares – The Harry Chapin Food Bank, an organization dedicated to fighting food insecurity and improving food security for families across Long Island. Long Island Cares brings together community resources to support hungry and food-insecure neighbors while working toward its vision of“A Hunger-Free Long Island.”

More than 250,000 Long Islanders experience food insecurity, and the need for support is especially important during the holiday season. Together, we can help ensure local families have access to nutritious food and a Thanksgiving meal they can enjoy with dignity.

How You Can Help

Donate a Turkey or Nonperishable Food Item: Bring a frozen turkey or nonperishable food donation to Station Yards anytime between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM on November 13.

Spread the Word: Invite your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors to participate. Every donation helps make a difference.

Together, we can help fight hunger, support our neighbors, and bring hope to families across Long Island this Thanksgiving. Every turkey donated and every food item collected helps Long Island Cares continue its mission of serving those who need it most.
