Toast Coffee + Kitchen is about to open its fifth Long Island location, this time at the brand-new Station Yards complex in Ronkonkoma.

Ronkonkoma will also mark the first Toast location that was built from scratch.

And the place is sparkling.

The Toast faithful will know that every location carries a theme, whether it’s the Steampunk Era in Patchogue, Prohibition in Long Beach, farmhouse in Port Jefferson Station or Coney Island carnival in Bay Shore.

“We chose an old-style railroad depot theme for our newest location at Station Yards, complete with a board-and-batten backbar and vintage pendant lighting,” said Toast owner and founder Terence Scarlatos, who grew up in the area.

“The design pays homage to my own westward journey — starting right here at the Ronkonkoma Hub, connecting through New York City, and ending three days later in Seattle. The mural is a tribute to that adventure and a reminder that life is a journey — and America is a vast and exciting place, full of possibility.”

The new Toast is just across the street from the Ronkonkoma LIRR Station to the south, and faces Tap Room across the courtyard to the west. The breakfast and lunch spot also joins the ranks of Great South Bay Brewery, Vespa Italian, Lucharitos and The Artemis at Station Yards.

The opening date has not yet been announced, as Scarlatos said he is still waiting on final inspections.

Stay tuned also for updates on what Toast has planned for the location after dark.
