The doors will swing open at Long Island’s ninth Tap Room location on Friday.

Just when commuters start getting off the train across the street.

That’s right, Tap Room, now on its ninth Long Island location, is the latest addition to the sprawling luxury apartment complexes that encompass what used to be called the Ronkonkoma Hub.

The gastropub is located at Station Yards, and Tap Room co-founder James Bonanno told Greater Long Island he’s as much excited to be a part of this game-changing, transformative undertaking by Tritec Real Estate group, the area’s developers, as he is opening his ninth location.

“We’re super excited to be a part of Station Yards,” he said. “It just came out great. And as we’ve grown as a brand, our look and design has matured as well, and you can certainly see that in the last couple of stores we’ve opened. We’re just really proud of the finished product.”

As for the Ronkonkoma Tap Room, Bonanno highlighted the massive bar and soaring ceilings, and how conducive the entire layout is to “just hanging out.” He also pointed to the shared outdoor space Tap Room has with neighbor Great South Bay Brewery, where both businesses hope to co-host live music events.

“But just being in the energy of Station Yards is really what we’re most excited bar, the courtyard, the farmer’s markets,” he continued. “It’s just going to be a fun spot.”

Like the other Tap Room locations, this one will be lining up weekend brunch, trivia nights on Wednesdays, wing nights on Thursdays “and a great place to bring the family or watch the game.”

Tap Room Ronkonkoma will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, though not until 3 p.m. Mondays.
